About Paul

Paul Whitehead has over 25 years’ experience putting the finishing touches on Kiwi homes. He started his career in his hometown of Whangarei, as a home furnishing sales consultant. Later he worked in Auckland as a Sales Representative for Maurice Kain Textiles, before going on to buy drapery designs directly from European mills to the New Zealand market.

In 2006, Paul founded Blind Ideas with the vision of adding his own chapter to New Zealand’s window treatment story.

Not only does Blind Ideas offer the best of Venetian, vertical, roller and motorised blinds but Paul has also brought a fresh innovation to the market. Digitally printed blinds, a.k.a. Digiblinds®, providing businesses with a modern, multi-functional window advertising solution, and homeowners a chance to add a layer of sophistication to their homes with the previously under-utilised roller blind!
